No turbo for a while if ever. I could see the turbo going to subaru though... and let the scion be the bargain buy

Anything with more than two seats looks bad as a convertible.

Not always...

but in this case; yeah. Should've just made it a roadster and tried to smooth out that back section. The way it curves up at the rear is weird.

No top-up pics? I'm assuming it's a soft-top (probably manual? or is that a faux paus nowadays?); can't imagine room for a power hard top in that size or pricerange. It does seem rather cleanly stowed, though.

My old Fiat 124 Spider just had a bench in back.

While you couldn't fit people back there, if you positioned it so that the widest part was between the two front buckets, you could fit a keg of beer.

While I think that the BR-Z and the FRS are both fine automobiles, I'm not interested in owning either one.

Nonetheless, since I sold the NA Miata, I do miss putting the top down from time to time.

Something like this Toyota Ft-86/GT-86 could have potential as my next car. Though, there isn't enough information to know for sure.

Nonetheless, I think that choice is good. And would love to see something like this convertible Toyota marketed in the US.

I hope they make the convertible and it sells tons of units so that the total GT86 sales volume lets Toyota eventually drop the price of the non-convertible model.
