March 23, 2010. Two movies that are fun to watch. I am wondering if I should wait until Toy Story 3 comes out to get the trilogy on blu-ray.

And then 2 months later theyll release the Special Edition...then 2 months later the Directors Cut...then 2 months later the Remaster Edition...

All kidding aside, Ive been waiting for Toy Story to come out on Blu-ray...genuinely surprised its taken this long...just watched the first one for the first time in years the other night, still just as good!

And I gotta say its funny watching it now...you can notice all the little graphical errors and such...I noticed in one part where Woodys hand passed through the blanket on the bed or how some of the characters looked like they were floating when walking...ahhh...15 year old CGI...

Han Solo fired first, but I wouldn't mind if they fixed things like that for the blu-ray.

I wonder if they'll re-render the movies directly to 1080p instead of downscaling the movie theater render? I know they did some re-rendering of at least A Bug's Life for the pan-n-scan DVD.

I've never seen these. Maybe I'll rent them when they finally come out.

I have not seen a release date for Finding Nemo on blu-ray. Also, The Incredibles does not have a blu-ray release date yet.

Yep, lots of good animated movies not on bluray yet...
-Finding Nemo
-Incredibles
-Toy Story 1/2
-Shrek 1/2

I don't get it. These movies are guaranteed best sellers, what's taking them so long to release them? I'm not even talking about LotR or SW.
