Toy question..anyone have one of those AIRHOGS?

i think he means those that are boats but can also fly. i saw them at costco and was a pubic hair away from buying one.

I bought one from ToysRUs and returned it. I was't impressed.
I barely flew and barely moved on thin grass. I couldn't get it to take off from water or grass. I was able to drive it around on asphalt, but it would only take off if I hit speed bump.
It's just a big piece of foam poop!

Yeah I saw that after buying mine. I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong or if it just plain sucked.

To get them to fly good you would have to do some serious modding like upgrading the motors to brushless, body modifications, changing the battery connections to dean's plugs and using a different li-po battery.

I doubt that the OP's 10 year old kid is going to do all that.
