Here's one guys solution. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/23/politics/matt-gaetz-town-hall-disrupters/index.html

The Florida Republican, like other lawmakers around the country, is holding events in his district Thursday and is worried about protesters.
The thought has crossed Gaetz's mind that protests could completely disrupt him from being able to speak at all at his town hall. So he's created what his staffers call the "non-verbal town hall," reminiscent of a scene from the movie "Love Actually."

They're trying to dodge their responsibilities of being a separate and equal branch to the executive while also simultaneously delegitimizing any criticism because it's party before country. I hope people continue trying to hold their representatives accountable and don't give up, as the Atlantic so eloquently ended this article:

"Those citizens who fantasize about defying tyranny from within fortified compounds have never understood how liberty is actually threatened in a modern bureaucratic state: not by diktat and violence, but by the slow, demoralizing process of corruption and deceit. And the way that liberty must be defended is not with amateur firearms, but with an unwearying insistence upon the honesty, integrity, and professionalism of American institutions and those who lead them."

My Congresscritter is holding a town meeting tonight after cowardly cancelling one last week, calling it an "ambush". I may go so I can ask what she will be doing to defeat Johnson's Social Security legislation.

We have an unrelated group scheduling town halls for ours, and getting mad when he has other things already scheduled for the same time.....

GOP is running scared from their constituents. Cancelling town halls. Phoning in instead. Hell McConnell is going so far as to only appear and speak at pay to enter functions.

I'm curious how requiring an entry fee will deter these supposed paid and organized professional disruptors from showing up? Seems it will only keep out your average Joe constituent. By why do they need to be heard amiright?
