bye

For all intents and purposes, this will be the end of claasical music sales, since they are the only ones to stock and mass market it - devoting entire floors to slow moving product.

wow, goodbye to one of the companies that price fixed CDs and are responsible for CDs not being sold for less than $14 anywhere (remember when best buy would sell them for $12?)

i agree with you to some extent EF, but you really can't beat their 7.99 sales, those wonderful times when you can search through endless bins of WELL-LABELLED cd's and find almost any cd you always wanted to get, but thought it unreasonable that they should be priced 16.99. last month i purchased almost every one of bob dylan's cd's for less than 70 bucks total.

btw, it's good to be back on the forums.

What are these Record Stores that you speak of?

j/k

Tower Records started in my hometown of Sacramento, California and I am pretty sad to see them go!
