I'm looking to pick up a tower fan for a bedroom sized room and was hoping for some suggestions. I see there are some popular brands but I'd like some commentary or personal opinions. I'd like to spend no more than about $100 which seems to leave most options open. anyone have an opinion on what I should look for?

Yeah we have a Lasko pedestal fan in our bedroom. Other than cleaning it every couple months, it has been on for about 4 years.

I picked up a Honeywell 42" with remote at home depot for around $60 about 5 years back, still works great. I use it in for the living area. They don't carry Honeywell anymore but still have similar fans at similar prices.

*Edit*
Found the exact one at amazon!!

why a tower fan and not a pedestal fan which work much better and cost less

35$ they work great i have 2

i only paid ~25 each for them at walmart

That link didn't work. I just assumed they would work better with a greater angle of air, and less oscillating. also more convenient to just stick on the floor in a corner or somewhere. Maybe I'm wrong, my options are still open

Ok that worked. Pedestal may work better for less money but I think I would really prefer a tower. They still aren't that expensive and it would be more convenient for me. I guess I can just check amazon reviews and take a chance on one

I would recommend picking up one with a remote control. We have a Lasko model that has the remote control. It's small and it can get lost, but it's great to just turn down the fan if it gets a tad chilly in the bedroom. This past week I put two smaller Lasko fans in our kids bedrooms. Cools the upstairs a good 10 degrees.

I think lasko seems to be the way to go. But there are 4 or 5 models that seem to be incredibly similar and I can only notice aesthetic differences. Hmm.

Excellent choice, you will love it!

Hope so, thanks! Only negative is that it isn't expected to get here until the 29th, that's shipped from amazon with prime 2 day. I was planning on overnighting it but that was only an option on the lasko for whatever reason
