Didn't take that long... I just kind of half-assed it while watching tv and I beat it pretty quickly.

I liked it quite a bit. I'll have a white russian and play another round for sure.

no
I believe you meant to say "oh."

Interesting defense game. It seems a bit frenetic though - there's too much to read while the guys are approaching. Defense, hit points, speed, etc.

oh

I actually contrubuted something worth while. Around 6,000-7,000 of my posts were related to assiting someone with a hardware or pc issue and started posting in offtopic around the time I hit 8k. The rest are debates and other nonsense.

Damn, just got zerged on Easy mode. Score: 211,764.
I kept getting hit with the "Can't add more soldiers" message. I managed to get the enemy castle down to about 9600 hit points, but that was it. Then I went from 20,000 to nothing in about 10 seconds.

That was on the Zigzag map.

Second attempt: Classic map. 121,902.
Enemy castle down to around 6500, which was all done in the first two minutes or so.
Got hit by a naval zerg rush that I couldn't do anything against.

In this game, quantity works better over quality and this holds true up until the last round. When a new generation of weapons is unveiled, I tend to use the cheaper last generation tech untill the newer one arrives and do not buy defense structures unless I am in deep poo of trouble.
When I have unlocked ships and jets, I then keep the tanks rolling and attack the tower on all three fronts. This puts an overload on the defense structures, thus allowing my attacking forces to break through and take out the home base tower.

My best advice is to only upgrade one of my defense structures to the newest tower tech, leaving one older one in place. This saves tons of money for the end of the game where you can unleash a near limitless barrage of your best sea, air, and land weapons. Choose lots of the cheaper weapon/soldiers and mix in a few medium grade ones of the same type for added punch. I found it's best to choose the medium cost weapon (in most circumstances except the 3 soldier packs, etc) Some of the more expensive weapons do not have good range and get shot down before they can attack the main target.

Hit the right arrow for the stronger units?

Yes, as they are released. But your best off sticking to the last gen tech when the newer one arrives, because you will have too few units to fight. Wait till one more tech comes out to upgrade. When possible, always be behind one gen and save $$$.

Oh yeah, I do.

I "couldn't do anything" against the naval attack simply because there were so damn many enemy boats.

Googer - I'll probably stop spending on the towers too. Their attack strength is pathetic, and most of the action occurs beyond their range anyway.
I would usually prefer to use the weapon with max range in each class. For example, send a bunch of Swordsmen against Archers, and they're all dead before even being in range.

I'll give it a shot again in awhile; grocery shopping time now. Yes, at 4:41am. :)

I'd usually manage to inflict damage on the enemy castle by sending a rush of electric jeeps, followed by lots of cavalry. The cavalry would act as a nice "meat shield," allowing the jeeps to get through and zap the castle. Those jeeps were the only things I was ever able to get through to the other castle. Everything else died en route, or else the computer used the Special weapon to devastate everything I had on the map.
