Hey guys, I'm new here and I'll admit I don't know a ton about building laptops, specifically, component compatibility. So I'm considering buying a Toughbook CF-72, my only hesitation is whether or not this is a good platform to upgrade from. Can the CF-72 motherboard handle 2 gigs of ram, a decent processor and hard drive, or will it bottleneck? I've even considered going with 4 gigs (2 sticks) and a 64 bit OS in the future. The only info I can find on the motherboard is http://toughbook.wikispaces.com/cf-72, which says that it is the DFUP1196ZC motherboard which I suspect is an Intel board, I've searched the internets but I can't find that particular number anywhere. Also, the same site mentioned having no luck with an ATA-6 hard drive, should it be compatible? One more thing, I'd like to upgrade to a wireless network card.

Basically, I'm asking for help choosing components for this system or if it's even viable. I started looking at Toughbooks because I'd like to have an extremely durable laptop (I'm notoriously rough on electronics) and I found this particular CF-72 for cheap. Performance wise I'd like for it to be significantly faster than my two previous Dell's (yes, I'm sorry), an Inspiron 6000 and a Latitude D610, both with a half a gig or less and a bottom of the line processor. Thanks a billion in advance for your help! :)
