Last night some buddies of mine and I got into and argument with the girls we usually hang out with. I got mad and pulled out of the parking lot we were at and then the girls pulled out in their van out and blocked me from leaving. The driver told me to move, i told her to move since i was already pulling out, and she got mad and ran right into me! She messed up my quarter panel beyond being able to pop it out, and messed up some other stuff under the wheel well. The problem is, my car only cost 1000$ (non-rice 92 civic), and replacing the 1/4 panel would cost almost that. There was no damage done to her parent's van. Even though we were mad at eachother, she's still my friend and i feel bad making her pay for something that expensive on a sh!tty car, even though she did do it on purpose. Do you think i should make her pay for it all? Should I just let it go? Or should she just pay to have it punched out the best it could be, and not replace the panel? I have no idea what i should do.

I am trying hard to think of any reason you wouldn't make her pay for it. Maybe next time she will think twice about the consequences of her actions before doing something so childish with adult toys.

Make the bytch pay for it! She had no right to run into you. I can't say much for your taste in friends.

She is not a friend if she is not willing to pay for it.
Do not let your hormones interfere with this situation

End of story.

should she pay? HECK YES! she needs to learn to take responbility for her actions.

if you really feel bad have her pay $500 of it or so. personally i would make her pay it all. maybe she will learn that a vehicle is not a toy.

I was about to say something tasteless about payment, but I won't. ;)

She should pay for the damage regardless. She caused it so she should learn to control herself and face the consequences of her actions.

If she's willing to pay for it and offers to then I'd keep her on as a friend. Then you can decide if you really want her to pay for it or if you don't care much and will let it slide.

If she is not willing and does not offer to pay for it then leave and don't look back.

Anyone who intentionally crashes their car into yours is not your friend. You could have been seriously injured, you never know what's going to happen when several thousand pounds of metal come together.
