You are so wrong.

"Prosecutors allege that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) was at the center of a criminal conspiracy to illegally coordinate the activities of independent conservative groups during recall elections in his state in 2011 and 2012, according to documents released Thursday and first reported on by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel."

This is the John Doe that was just shut down.

The previous John Doe was when Walker was in charge of Milwaukee county.

My mistake.

This is prosecution in the court of public opinion and nothing else. A bunch of bitter democrats who couldn't handle losing elections.

The 7th circuit court of appeals overruled Randa & the documents have been released, in any event. Given their content, that's clearly in the Public's interest.

Randa contends that actions of non-profits can be coordinated & directed from the governor's office because they're "issue ads" rather than direct support. It opens the door to coordinated campaigns having almost zero accountability. Anonymous money goes in the back end of 501(c)4 groups, comes out as ads directed by the candidate, but there's no coordination, obviously. Well, not anything Randa defines as coordination. It attempts to circumvent campaign contribution statutes entirely.

And the Club for Growth wants Walker to carry that banner all the way, be their oppressed poster boy. Bet he didn't realize that they'd try to use him as a staked goat to serve a larger agenda.

you do know there was a recall election after he limited union powers and was reelected ?

This whole Joe Doe thing is mainly sour grapes by democratic DA's who have nothing more important to do then investigate Scott Walker 24/7. Because theres no way a republican should be governor, that spot belongs to democrats.

Well of course I knew that. However, the dynamics that occurred during the recall effort was not anything like the election that preceded it. Consider too the grass roots effort that created the recall vs. the huge amount of $$$ via Koch Bros. & Friends that Walker had access to that he blunted the recall effort with.

In an earlier post on the recall effort there and the results that favored Walker, I mentioned that the folks of Wisconsin had spoken and I fully accepted that decision as the process of law was carried out to its conclusion the way it was meant to.

My only dissatisfaction with that election was the way Walker held back his true intentions knowing it would have jeopardized his chances of getting elected by a significant extent. In large part, his dishonesty carried him into office. I find that despicable.

The GOP has no one to run in 2016. Literally, no one.

The more they skim the scum off the top of the conservative pond, the more new scum collects.

Yes they do. Santorum-Palin/Bachman ticket, or a Palin-Bachman ticket.

Putting Palin on a ticket is a quick way to shove votes towards the Democrats from anyone with independent leanings. Sure she rallies the crazies but they were going to vote R anyway. Anyone with half a brain doesn't want here anywhere near the White House

I can't believe anyone would spend vacation time in here. Go enjoy your vacation, this place and all the political BS will still be here when you get back home.

Too many of you need help and I am relaxing in a restaurant. Time moves slowly here and I try to never live for something around the corner. I am the vacation, not where I am. Love you.

You could be a little kinder to John McCain.

That's where we disagree, sir. Anybody impaired enough to believe right wing crapola is too impaired to have dreamed it up themselves. They've been taught, indoctrinated like kids in a Madrassa in Pakistan. They're victims whose best qualities are used against them by the people they follow.
