I have a Touchpad I am going to give to a friend who is absolutely tech dumb. I want to put Android on it but want the most stable and feature rich rom, what would you suggest? It doesn't have to be ICS, I just want something that will be stable for him

I would go with Cyanogenmod 9 alpha 2. Just know that not everything works and there are crashes. I would still say it is the best. When a final build comes out you can put the new build on b/c its pretty easy.

Not sure why you would want to put an android build on it for someone with low technical ability. That seems to be asking for trouble.

If you do put Android on it... The great thing is it dual boots so it is super easy to use webos too.

Correct, you'll be a slave to fix "anything" that goes wrong with the tablet. Is tech support included with the gift? ^_^

ICS with some bugs is still 100% better than Web OS these days.

I loved WebOS but its just dead now. Even simple web browsing in cyanogen is soo much better than with the stock browser.

What you want and what you get a two different things, the camera doesn't work on the touchpad in android, wifi is troublesome sometimes, video playback is so-so, and random crashes.
