So we were getting frozen pizza tonight and I glanced over at the Totino's pizzas... they were noticeably smaller, but still the same price.

Bullshit

You want more:

coffee 16oz> 13oz> 11oz and less

spaghetti sauce 32oz> 30oz> 28oz> now 24oz

peanut butter 18oz> 16.3

Welcome to the incredible shrinking package size.

You must not grocery shop much.
Breyers ice cream .5 gallon -> .425 gallon -> .375 gallon
They continue and they will need to change it to pints.

There is a whole science behind making the product look the same but reducing what it contains. Jars with hollow plastic centers only viewable from the bottom. Cereal boxes that are large on the front but only half as thick, etc.

Don't even get me started with little debbie cakes. Honeybuns my ass, those are one bite snacks.

Why do you guys think we bought it? We bought a different kind, but the OP is stating something he noticed.

P.S.
Totino's is good. Especially when you're pregnant.

Used to eat them when I was a kid. They were the size of a paper plate and $1.00. Tasted good, but hardly 'pizza.'

I've seen a couple instances of deceptive packaging recently. Thin-sliced ham in rigid clear plastic, full height in front but the backside underneath was angled up to half the height/capacity. Also Musselman's applesauce in a large plastic jar has a huge concavity in the bottom, probably detracting a cup total from the jar's volume.

If you add a bunch of extra cheese and some real toppings prior to cooking it's OK. Not real pizza by any means but an OK snack@ 1:00AM when it's to late to order real pizza..

i agree, the bryers ice cream and whatever other name brand ice cream our grocery store is carrying has gotten smaller while the price has increase or stay the same. If i recall right, at my local meijers grocery store bryers ice cream is like $4 or $5 for a quart of ice cream. But meijers also sell this 1 gallon ice cream for like $6. so i pick that up instead.
