Totally and utterly blown away by Sennheiser MX-400 buds.

On the recommendation of a few people here I picked up a pair of the MX-400's for $14.99 from amazon and I just can't believe what I'm hearing. There is simply no comparison to any other earbuds I have ever used before. Clear, deep, rich base...I think they may even be better than my HD-570's full-ear headphones. Paired up with my Muvo NX I just couldn't be happier. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a good set of buds. Don't spend more.

I bought a pair of those too and although I haven't used them that much, I think they sound awesome as well.
I usually use my HD 280 Pros but they're a bit bulky if you are out and about. Good buds tho man! :)

Try the Koss KSC-35's if you can still find them. I was SHOCKED at how good they sounded for under $30. I picked mine up on closeout for $15. I always thought that Koss sucked, but these things are killer for the money.

If you don't care about money, Shure's E5C are generally considered the best. At around $500 for earbuds, one would hope so. In the slightly more modest range, Sony MDR-EX71 and MDR-E888, and lower end Etymotics are pretty good.

I have the sennheiser MX-500 buds for use w/ my Samsung mp3 players. Unfortunately, I ripped all my music in WMA, and my Samsung won't play them because they're "protected." Kind of a kick in the face, since I do own the rights to the music...

Anyways, the MX-500s are great. Aside from I keep loosing the little foam ear things. Sennheiser rocks though, and sends me more, for free! :D

I wouldn't put them on the same level as true headphones though, my HD600s, RS-85s and Bose Triports blow them away.

I think I'll go with the MX400's. The others are out of my price range. Thanks for all the replies.
