Total number of EverQuest players ?

Where can I find out the total amount of active online EverQuest players for the PC? The official site indicates "80,000+ players online" but that's just for right now, right? I want an estimate of total players who play regularly.

If the answer isn't out there, what do you think the number is ? Doing some quickie research.

regularly i don't know the number but I read once that there were 300,000 -> 400,000 paid subscriptions at its peak

I play four accounts at the same time.... so are you looking for individual accounts, or individual people playing

Thanks for that bit of insight. Didn't realize you can play multiple accounts (I don't play). Does that mean you pay for 4 subscriptions ?

No idea. I used to play, but after a while it got......boring. (after a year). When DAOC came out, I was all over it. I moved and decided not to continue the account. IMHO, DAOC is the better game all around, but both became kind of dull after a bit of time in them.

Then again, my taste in games is changing. I'd rather play RE on the GC or Medival total war on the computer. I still like UT2K3 and play it quite a bit, and you can find me as Pale on the insta gib servers.
