Using WinXP SP1 on both systems btw.

Can they both get on the internet? Need some more details. What sort of internet do you have, DSL or Cable? Did you try going into Start->Settings->Network Connections then clicking on the option "Set up a home or small office network" wizard under the Network Tasks tab? That should solve all your problems. As far as sharing goes, just right-click the folder you desire to share, click the tab that says "Sharing and Security" and if the options are all grayed out, simply look at the bottom for a link that says "another folder" and click on it. After that, uncheck the box that says "Make this folder private" then check the checkbox that says "Share this folder on the network". To share a printer, simply go Start->Settings->Printers and Faxes. (Make sure you are on the computer that has the printer installed on. Also be sure to have the drivers installed.) Then click on whatever printer you want to share and notice on the side under the Printer Tasks, click on "Share this printer". Follow through with that wizard and you should be golden.

Yea they both on the internet fine. I configured my router for my DSL and they both work, I thought if the inernet works setting up the basic windows network would be a breez, but it hasn't so far.
