Bought 2 3gs' @ launch, paid 199+ tax each. Bought cases for them.

Bought 2 4s @ launch, paid 199 no tax each.

Finally sold both 3gs for 180/160, with cases.


Soooo about 30 bucks each to upgrade old phones to new phones 2.5 years later. How does everyone else maximize the value of their phones? Is there a better method?

Jailbreak & Sell. People on Tmobile etc. love love love iPhones.
 
Jb and unlock if you want a little extra. I rarely use my 4s but it was essentially free so it would be dumb not to upgrade
