Total cost of installing epoxy floor coating

Hey guys, I stay in Toronto and I thought of doing a renovation of my garage during the upcoming weekends. I’m planning to purchase some paint for the garage flooring. But a friend of mine has recommended me to consider epoxy floor coating for my garage. She has recently got her garage renovation done by a Toronto based floor contractors - Proseal Flooring. What will be total cost of installing epoxy floor coating? What downtime could be expected after the installation? Any suggestions in this regards will be highly appreciated.

It's pretty reasonable for a garage and can be done by most people who can follow directions. Epoxy paint costs about $60 a gallon. Coverage is about 250 to 300 square feet. You also have to strip the floor before applying the epoxy paint. Stripping the floor is pretty cheap. There's more work involved than cost as you can use muriatic acid from the pool supply store. You should allow a minimum of two days since you've never done this before.

Hmm, epoxy floor coating done when we're on the cusp of winter and in Canada no less? I think you could probably tell us what Proseal Flooring would want to do the job.
