Total Black Screen - HELP!

Well, I got my new mobo, cpu, memory and Radeon 9600 all installed. Fired up the PC but got a completely black screen. Not one trace of anything ever appeared on the screen despite it powering up. I WAS running an old mobo with a SiS chipset and onboard video. I upgraded to a ASRock K7S8XE board and the Radeon 9600 card. Everything seems fine with the actual hardware installment but I am clueless as to why I'm getting absolutely nothing on my screen at all when I fire up the PC.

Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions?? If you have any, please don't be specific/detailed as possible so I can troubleshoot some.

Thanks

Monitor is a 17" MAG 770FS CRT.

Video card is the Connect3D Radeon 9600 (non pro) and comes without a fan on the heatsink so I'm not sure if my problem is related directly to the video card or if it's related more to the motherboard but it seems to be a video problem.

what MB are you using maybe there's a jumper to use the AGP. If the one you got has on board video. Otherwise check in the bios.

Thanks guys. Turns out that I had to go to the AMD site and download the AGP drivers. I was previously using a crappy onboard video mobo and didn't have the drivers I needed. After doing that, she runs like a champ. Had NO idea just how much I was missing with games going from a 1997 mobo with onboard video to this new setup. Wow!
