I'm looking at a laptop for university in the fall, and I've narrowed it down to these two. I can get them with roughly the same features for about the same price, so that's not a big deal. Mostly I'm concerned about the qualitative things, quality, battery life, usability etc.
Does anyone have any experience with these or similar laptops?
Also, I noticed on Toshiba's web page that on one page (the product contents page of the support site) it mentions that there's a IEEE1394 port, but I don't see any mention of it anywhere else. Can anyone confirm/deny whether it has one or not?
