I saw it at Best Buy today for $95 out the door. The player has extra video outputs and will play many media types.

I cannot find much for reviews on this player.

I wanted to know if Toshiba is a good brand for DVD players or if anyone has an opinion about the SD-1800 model.

Thanks

Toshiba makes excellent DVD Players.

I would also consider the Panasonic DVD-RV32K as well.

wje offers some excellent advice in this thread.

I don't have any experience w/ the SD-1800 Tosh, but I own two Tosh DVD players, one in my computer & one stand-alone unit and I must say Tosh makes excellent DVD player IMHO, hope this helps :)

My wife wanted a DVD player, so I walked into Radio Shack yesterday (I refuse to enter any big box retail store this time of year) and bought the cheapest one they had. I think it was $89 with a $20 MIR.

Anybody have information on this unit and whether I got a good deal?

You didn't really think I would pay full price, did you?

But I really did think you would have enough sense to give us the model of the player before asking our opinions on it.
