Hi to all.
I want to buy a notebook that is a "moving" version of an updated desktop pc. (i will be always near a power outlet).
Meaning a display over 15'' (wide screen is a must), 60+ Gb hard disk, 512+ Mb ram, an average to high class mobile graphic card,
wifi onboard (or ready to get wifi).
All these qualities are offered by the Toshiba P20-S203 (P4 3.06GHz CPU Hyperthreading, 17''wide, 80Gb, 512Mb, nVIDIA FXGo5200,
DVD-RW/DVD-RAM/CD-RW/media remote control) at an extreme market price of 3.500 Euro+18%Tax in Greece (with 1Eu=1,13USD).
There aren't many reviews (two or three i think) about p20-s203 and i don't know any other alternative solution from other brands.
So my questions are. IYHO.
1) Is it worth the load of money for what it delivers?
2) Are there any other solutions? (A must is a fast CPU,15''-17'' wide screen,60-80Gb drive,512MbRam,wifi ready,DVD-RW, a good graphics card)
3) Any review from site/magazine/owner ?
The pros: The name of Toshiba, i think it's the leader , the specifications are (almost) great
The cons: Money, it doesn't have a wireless card onboard=more money, P20 has Win XP Home=more money for XP Pro,
Not included official carring/traveling bag=more money.
Any thoughts/suggestions/reviews would be most welcomed.
