Toshiba Satellite C55-C5240 >> Memory Upgrade?

I just got this little guy on Amazon for a nice sale price of $449, and it's got some pretty decent specs: 5th gen i5 core, 8GB Ram and a 1TB HDD 5400. If anyone's interested, here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Satel...nch-Laptop/dp/B00VFY8LY2/ref=zg_bsnr_565108_1

The specs on the unit say its 8GB DDR3L RAM. That's cool, but I wouldn't mind upgrading it to 16GB. The specs on Toshiba's site say it's max is 8GB and its "not user replaceable" But, if you read the first review on Amazon, a guy feels it can be upgraded to 16GB safely.

I'd like to know how others feel about this, and if anyone has this notebook and upgraded the RAM?

Upgrading the 5400 RPM hard drive to an SSD would give a better speed boost than an extra 8 Gb of system memory.
