What can I upgrade in this laptop? Current Specs are
Intel Celeron M 2.8 GHZ
256 (Upgraded to 512)MB of ram
40 GB Hard Drive
DVD/CD-RW Drive
Windows XP Home Edition

I want to upgrade the HDD but I'm unsure of the maximum size of that the MB will support The MB only has 2 ram slots and they are full the MB also has a Mini PCI Slot that I can put in a built in wireless card but the computer has no built in WIFI antenna where can I get antennas for the internal WIFI cards and where do they go? Thanks

Do you know what chipset the computer has? You might be able to use a Dothan or Banias Pentium M processor in there (Dothan >> Banias).

Upgrade the RAM to 1GB (go with 2x512MB) and sell off the old RAM or you could speed it up a little by removing all the eye candy from XP.
Upgrade to the latest BIOS from Toshiba so as to reduce the possible compatibility issues.
The motherboard should be able to support at least an 80GB hard drive.
The connection for the WiFi antenna should be a screw or two that you attach the wires from the card to.

Apparently, you can only use Mobile Celerons and Mobile Pentium 4s in that machine. If you could find a Mobile Pentium 4, you could upgrade to that, but it would become even hotter than it is now. I wouldn't dump too much into upgrading that machine as it is filled with somewhat old, not reusable (if you were to get a new system) parts.
