I have a Toshiba Laptop, I am trying to upgrade my combo drive to a DVD Burner. I have tried to get Information from Toshiba with no luck. Because my laptop is past the warantee, and is a discontinued model they can't help. I have tried a couple of DVD burners and my POST will not recognize it, I get an IDE error.
Any one have any ideas where I can find enough info to find a compatible burner
