It's got 1000 Mhz Processor, 256Mb of SDRAM, 14.1" TFT Active Matrix Screen, 20Gb Hard-Drive, 16 Mb Geforce @ Go Graphics Card, 8x DVD Drive, Floppy Drive, 56k modem 10/100 LAN Card, WinXP OS.

What I want to know is how does this system perform with 3D gaming? I'm not doing away with my desktop PC, the laptop is going upstairs and going to be used as my second PC. It will be LAN connected to my desktop PC. I want to LAN connect the laptop to my brother-in-laws PC when I go over there to play 3D games i.e. Quake3, RTCW, Links 2001, Colin Mcrae 2, Fifa 2002 and F1 2001. Will it be able to handle all these games ok???

Does this systems Geforce 2 Go chip use 32Mbit DDR or 64Mb DDR memory.

It uses 16MB of DDR memory and a 32bit DDR memory path. The 32MB uses a 64bit DDR memory path. If you have a choice, get the 32MB. You should be able to play @ 1024x768 with the 16MB version.

I had Toshiba Satellite 3005-S304. I've played Max Payne without any problems.. no lag or anything like that.. :)
