Toshiba Satellite 210CT problems

After a friend of mine used this laptop it says:

Insert BIOS update disk & press key to continue

I'm not sure what caused this, he said something about installing icq, altough I'm not sure what this has got to do with it
I can't skip this or anything, I found some BIOS that seemed to be for this Satellite but it gave an error.
Does anyone know what's causing this and mostly how to solve it
