Toshiba S300-EZ2501 Using DVI on port replicator PA3508U-1PRP

I have a Toshiba S300-EZ2501 laptop and a PA3508U-PRP port replicator/docking station. This docking station has a DVI out on it.



I also have a Viewsonic VX2235WM-3 with DVI in support.



For the life of me I cannot get the DVI portion to work. I have tried using strictly just a DVI cable and selecting the dvi/digital input. I have restarted. I have done just about anything I can think of. Is there something I have to do special to get the laptop/docking station to work on my DVI output?



The VGA works fine on this.....but is VERY blurry and hard on the eyes. DVI should really help with this.

Best information i can find concerning the issue looks like you already know considering its from your identical thread you posted at: http://laptopforums.toshiba.co...PA3508U-1PRP/m-p/37789

My guess would be if the VGA is blurry then the DVI probably isn't going to be much better. As mentioned at that other forum there may be a firmware update that will fix this problem as it seams your not the only one having this issue.
