Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV650 video problem

Aloha to all. It has been a while since I posted here and great to be back. A few days ago after my Toshiba had downloaded a bunch of MS updates from the web, I turned my laptop off but it didn't shut off until all the updates had installed and configured which I didn't find unusual. Next day, my computer would bluescreen and reboot. It did a continual BSOD and reboot cycle until I shut it off. I notice that before the BSOD, at the Windows splashscreen there would be color bars right across the screen as seen in this photo:

I have a feeling that the video card or video card memory is dust. I tried reinstalling the OS by using the recovery disc and still the laptop experiences the BSOD and rebooting loop. Could anyone give me some idea what is going on and if there is anything I could do to remedy the situation. I already called Toshiba and fortunately I have an extended warranty that covers almost any computer issues and will do all repairs in home. Is the video card easy to replace (user replacable) or do I have to get the sevice tech to do it...whenever that would be. Mahalo in advance.

Hey There, I Read Your' Forum, I Was Wondering If You Fixed The Laptop Your' Reffering To? I Have A Toshiba Qosmio G35 AV650 Myself And A Couple Weeks Ago Began Having The Say Problems Your' Meantioning. I Seem To Be Able To
Get It Steady Enough To Use With Just A Windows Generic Driver, But Anytime An
Attempt To Get The Drivers Back Crashes And An Incomplete Load Causing Bootup To
Hang/Dump. I'm Definately Intrested In Getting My Qosmio Back And Running Properly.
