So we had a customer in Best Buy come in and tell us that Toshiba makes a laptop that you just press a button and magically in Windows 7 you stream HDTV to your TV without HDMI. Instantly. No setup, anything.
He said this was instant and we should educate ourselves on it and it would be a big selling point.

Can someone learn me on this?

Dont you love it when customers know what they want and it happens to be a new and rare technology?

Its alright when you can figure out wtf they are talking about, but when they have no details (as in the OPs case) its a pain in the ass because you have no idea if its a real thing or not in most cases

Hah, yeah...he's probably thinking about the R700 (or R705 for BB), which uses Intel's WiDi, as Paperfist said.

check the homepage of anandtech for a review of a similar product that will work with other laptops or desktops even. also, asus has this feature in their keyboard computer.
