I recently went to a best buy to purchase a Toshiba M45-S331. When I got there, I found the price to be $1049 (or $400 less than what is costs on the website or anywhere else). This was a brand new, sealed laptop. Is there a new technology or some sort of issue with this laptop, that others know about (and I don't), that is making Best Buy sell it so low? I have learned there is no such thing as a free lunch...

I welcome any information (or reviews) people have.

Thanks!!!

the m45 is a new laptop from toshiba using the new centrino platform. the only downside is that it uses ddr2700 which is a bottle neck... however for that price, it's a pretty good deal. are you sure it was the m45 and not one of the older toshiba's?
