Anybody willing to pop open their laptop and look at a few wires? I've disassembled mine a few times just for curiosity, and now the wireless LAN won't work. It's very strange, it can pick up available networks, but then can't make a connection to them.

What I need is which color wires connect to which pins on the few cards. The Intel mini-PCI card has an aux pin and a main pin and there's a black and a white wire. I'm pretty sure I got those right because of the way the wires lay naturally. Then under the keyboard is where the wires route to the antenna wires in the LCD frame. On the battery connector PCB are 4 pins labelled I think CN5 to CN8. They appear to be traced so 5 goes to 6 and 7 goes to 8, so black to black and white to white. But no matter what combination of those and the main/aux wires I use I can't get it working. Some combinations just don't let it get any signal at all.

The keyboard is easy to lift out, only 3 screws and one snap-in cover so it's not anything in-depth.

I suppose I may have damaged the card or the wires but it is getting SOME signal. If it's the card, this is an excuse to get a 11g card. :) And I have reinstalled all drivers and software. Anybody think Toshiba would sell me just the wires?
