toshiba M30 or compaq x1040

I have no idea how many have been sold, but I have only seen 4 come through my service shop in the past 2 months (we service about 300laptops monthly. I can say that the construction feels very good on that model, better than the P15 or P25 series.
 
i looked at the m30 also. the main thing i like about it is the styling, but the x1000 isnt exactly terrible.


i ended up buying an x1000 off ebay for really cheap so yeah.


the x1000 is a better deal with the 10% off and epp coupons and rebates. plus you can build it to order. i am not sure you can get the m30 in more than 1280x800 screen, and also it has a fx5200 go which is slower than the 9000 radeon on the x1000.
