Since two months ago, My LCD turns black when I restart my computer or close/open the laptop.

I can see a screen through black screen, but it seems like backlight is totally gone.

Did anyone experienced same problem?

Bestbuy technicians dont know why it happens. They just keep show me how to use

powersaver utility. It's not about powersaver.

I need help!

It sounds more like the HIBERNATION file may be corrupt.

You did not mention an OS, but it is a common problem with Win9x & 2000.
(the nVidia go5200 video drivers seem to reek havoc on the file)

hehe go into system, device manager.find the tab that says display adapters. click the little +. if it shows two adapters go into your display and switch to the other adapter

I tried all thing i could...

and it still happens..

Black screen 😡

I dont know how to fix it.

Even, technicians at Bestbuy and Futureshop doesnt know why it happens....

I still have warranty 1 year factory one.

Nope. i havent dropped my laptop

it happens after a month

How do I contact with TOshiba technicians?

check to see if you have the latest BIOS on your computer, I would go to the web sight and check to see if there is an up-date that you may need.

If this fails contact or go to Toshiba's web sight and ask about an RMA.

It's way to early in your laptops life to be having problems ( you shouldn't have problems until the 13th month ) I'd contact Toshiba and tell them the problem, that Best Buy and Futureshop technicians do not have a clue what the problem is, and ask for a RMA.

I let early problems go on my Toshiba and it died 3 months after the 1 year warantee expired. I took it to a Toshiba repair shop and after the $50 fee to find the problem, found out I needed a new M-Board which cost no less than $600 plut the service fee to replace it. I now have a door stop with a nice LCD.
