I received a letter from toshiba yesterday regarding faulty memory modules that they are replacing in the component exchange policy.

If you have not gotten a letter and own any of the following you may want to contact toshiba to see what is up.

tecra s1,9100,m1,m2
satellite 2400,2405,1110,1115, m30, m35
satellite pro m10,m15
Protege r100,m200,m205
Dynabook t5,e6,v7,m10,ss s7, ss2100, e7,v8,v9,vx1,ss m200

there is a memchecker they have for owners of the laptop to see if you need to get the replacement modules.

it is for these models and will let you know if yours is broken.

my wife has a m15-s405, a p-m 1.4 that ruined a centon 512 ddr (under lifetime warranty) so i got a replacement but now I have to find my original memory to see if i can send it back or if it's okay.
