Toshiba laptop & Printer $699 at Bestbuy starting 8/8

I got in on the deal last week too. Too bad I jumped on sending in my rebates the next day or I would return it to get the better deal. All those whining about the resolution of the display and the small keyboard should consider that, for the money, this is a good laptop deal. I would like to have a wide screen display on my laptop too, but guess what???? Can't get one for $600!! I looked and you can't find a used laptop with these specs on Ebay for this price unless you catch an auction ending at 3 a.m. and then you don't know what you are getting. This at least has a warranty. My 2 cents (exactly what opinions are worth

Depends on location, my local one said they were getting 15 in the shipment on Weds...but as I got the last one on Sun I didn't care..hehe

lol i got this when it was $599 after rebate. Good laptop and looks alright too. Heavy but hey... what can i say... it's only $600.

Although i got a funny mail from toshiba offer me a full refund if I don't like the laptop and return back to them. Some thing about ppl complaining that the the label didn't say it was 2.8GHZ celeron.....

I got mine about 2 months ago when they had it on for $599 after rebate. The letter I got was from toshiba. I think they'll send you that letter if you register the laptop.

Lots of locations have gotten resupplied on the laptop... but they're all out of the memory, which is required to be on the same reciept to get the rebates....
