Toshiba Laptop - No Power

My 2 year old notebook went dark on me. It was running fine, went upstairs to get coffee and came back to a dead laptop (no lights at all with power brick or battery). I tried everything. Now I'm taking it apart and don't want to make it worse. I'm in search of the Service manual for the Toshiba Satellite A205 S5084. If anyone has a link or can email it to me (PM) I would appreciate it so much.

Thanks guys,

try dissipating the capacitors. unplug and remove battery. hold in the power button for 30 seconds, reinsert battery and try to power on.

Ok I have it all apart now...but still can't figure the problem out. The power adapter lead is solid. I thought it would be disconnected and that was my problem...but no.

Can anyone help me out on this one?

Did you try it with only the A/C adapter and the battery removed?

Hi corkyg, Yep, tried that.

I called Toshiba technical support today and they pretty much told me it's the MB : ( If I can find one on ebay or here for 50 bucks or so I'll replace it...otherwise it's parts!!!!
