When I bought my laptop, I bought the 2-yr Performance Service Plan. The salesmen told me that it would pay for itself because the battery will go bad and I could just come in to get a new one.
It's now been almost two years and, indeed, the battery has a noticeably shorter lifespan: 30 minutes as opposed to over an hour when new.
Has anyone had any problems with this or will there be things to keep in mind. Best Buy has become so much more strict in the past few years. I'm prepared to 'do battle' with the manager if necessary, arguing that their salesman sold me based on the fact I could get a new battery.
Will they have to send it in or can they just give replace the battery in store?
As a sidenote, this PSP has already covered a fried MB, RAM, and HD from a power surge, two times being sent out for repair; the PSP already paid for itself a few times over.
Thanks
