I started a more Broad M400 Post in the Laptop's Section Broad M400 Thread. Sorry if this Thread is a bit of a double post.

The answers can be few and far between in the Laptop Section and I really need to find out how to repair this AC Adapter as soon as possible.

The AC Adapter.

The End-Plug, part of the wire that connects to the Laptop, was broken out and missing.

I have this Adaptaplug Q & this Replacement Adaptaplug Socket.

I need to figure out How to connect the "Replacement Adaptaplug Socket" to the Toshiba AC Adapter Wire. What is the Polarity of the 2 Adaptaplug Socket Wires ?, or does it even matter ?

Thanks

Links don't work, so it's hard to help you.

Thanks for the Reply. My Links in my First post work fine for me, they open a new tab to each product's home page. Why they don't work for you I'm not sure.

Anyway, yesterday I solved the Polarity problem. The Problem was that neither of the Adaptaplug Parts had a published Polarity layout. But with the help of a very helpful older gentleman at my local Fleet Farm, we figured out a way to check the Polarity.

I bought a 10$ Multimeter from Fleet Farm then did an Ohm Test on the Adaptaplug Q. I inserted 1 on the Meter's +/- wires into the Center of the Adaptaplug Q (where it plugs into the laptop), then touched the Meter's other +/- wire to one of the Q's Prongs. Which ever Prong made the Ohm meter move was the prong In-Line with the Center.
