I was wondering if I could upgrade my cpu to a Intel Core Duo T2300E Yonah 1.667GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket M Processor. the motherboard in my laptop accepts upto a 533mhz fsb and is socket m any help is greatly appreciated.

I just picked up a Sony Vaio Core Duo 1.73 on the cheap and was wondering the same thing about upgrading to a Merom. Not even sure if it makes sense financially. A few hundred more would have put me into Core 2 Duo territory.
