I finally jumped the shark and bought a SSD. I only see one other review out there in Google land for this drive so I am posting it up for others to look at.

We used different benchmarking utilities but at least you get a clue about what to expect performance wise out of this drive.

Right now MicroCenter has these drives for the same price ($99 YMMV) as the Samsung 840. As long as the drive is reliable, I think it is a good alternative to other SSDs out there.
