Toshiba HD DVD 3rd gen player and 9 free movies $399

I picked up the Toshiba HD-A30 ( Third generation HD DVD player) for $399.99 today, It comes with 300 and the Bourne Identity in the box. Add any 2 HD DVD titles (excluding preorders, TV series and box sets) and you will receive them free. I added King Kong and Superman Returns. All of this and a mail in rebate for 5 free HD DVD movies. Total 9 HD DVD movies free.

You can get the 2 free HD DVD' with the purchase of the HD-A2 or HD-A20 along with the 5 mail in HD DVD rebate, howerver the 2 free HD DVD movies in the box are only available on the HD-A30.

I wonder if the same 2 movies come in the box if you order from Amazon where the same player is $338. HD-A30 at Amazon

They could make it a much better deal by expanding the selection of the 5 free DVDs you get with the mail-in rebate.

I was wondering the same thing. The two movies (300 and Bourne) are actually bundled in the box so I would assume it is included.

One other note the movies in the box have no UPC's and say "Not For Sale" just another little bit of info.
