Gotta find a little bit more research on battery life, but I'm almost certain I'm going to order from CompUSA today.
CompUSA has it for $599 after $20 MIR. But get this. You ALSO get FOR FREE a CompactFlash 802.11b card and a 64MB CompactFlash memory card.
Regular Retail Price: $739.95
-$39.98 Bundle Instant Savings
-$79.98 Instant Saving
You Pay: $619.99 Price after instant rebates, if any
-$20.00 Bundle Mail-In Rebate
CompUSA Price: $599.99 Price after instant & mail-in rebates
Best yet, it has 64MB RAM, 400MHz X-Scale and a WHOPPING 4" screen. I looked at it today at CompUSA and it was bright and beautiful. It also has dual slots (CF & SD/MMC).
I'm gonna hawk my Audiovox Maestro on eBay along with the 802.11b CompactFlash card I just got from Circuit City...the one that comes with the 550g is more power efficient and is CF Type-I vs CF Type-II for the one I have now...it also isn't as bulky. I'm also going to throw in my CF/SM USB reader in the deal. So I should be able to clear about $320 - $350 on that stuff. Plus, I have about $120 in rebates coming my way (very soon) from various other Hot Deals
