Toshiba E740 PDA $325 AR at Staples (B&M only?)

I stopped by my local Staples Store (Newark, CA) and saw a Toshiba E740 PDA marked for $349 - $25 MIR. I didn't pay attention at that time. However, when I can back and search staples.com, I found this item is list for $499.

Immedietely called the store to confirm the price as well as the condition of the product. I was told this is brand new product and the price is true.

Is this hot? Is there still a rebate for this item?
