I can get either for the same price at 800.com. Which is better? I've heard a lot of good things about the Toshiba, but I have a Kenwood receiver, and the Kenwood connection circuitry (whatever it's called) would be nice (put in a DVD, the receiver starts up, etc).

Any reviews out there for the Kenwood?

You're the man ;)

I notice 2 weaknesses about the Kenwood that will probably make me go for the Toshiba - no zoom (so you'd have to watch in in letterbox (widescreen) - not a big deal to me, but my wife prefers pan&scan. Also, it doens't have an S/PDIF coax (electrical) output, just an optical ouput! That really sucks for me cuz my Dolby Digital receiver doesn't have an optical input, just coax.

Another weakness of the Kenwood (but it isn't a big deal to me) is that it doesn't play CD-Rs :(

Thanks for the quick reply!
