Toshiba 5205-S705 -- DVD burning speed?

Okay.... this is starting to really piss me off...
I saw on toshiba.com that this was a 4x dvdr burner, and now it says 2x dvdr.... compusa says 2x... microcenter says 4x....

From anyone who owns one, what is yours?

I am gonna be so fvcking pissed if it is not a 4x.... So stupid for them to change......

The only drive, as of 07-14-03, listed for that unit is the Panasonic UJ-810X5. I couldn't get any hits from google with that information, so I can list what the specs are for that drive. Feel free to research it some more and post what you find.

Okay.... I may be wrong about this, but I think this isn't exactly fair...

I was at microcenter, and they said the DVD is 4x, so i said if i get it and i isn't can i return it, since this is false advertising. I am paying for a 4x dvd and you give me a 1x. Well, they said that it doesn't matter, and even if its wrong, they will still charge a restocking fee of 15%.

This should be against the law for them to charge a restocking fee, because i am paying $3000 for a laptop with a 4x dvd and they give me a 1x... They gave me the wrong product, i want my money back or i can sue
