Toshiba 36HF72 TV $799 at Fry's

I was sat Fry's in Campbell, CA and saw this HD-capable tube tv at this insanely low price. They were playing some High-School basketball HD video and the thing looked as good if not better than the plasma screens. It's a 4:3 ratio but all that means is that it can dub as a 34" wide-screen.

I have no means to buy this 200-lb behemoth, but if anyone out there is looking for a sweet deal on an HDTV in time for superbowl, be sure to check it out.

I think this is B&M only.

I searched price engines and found there are no comparable TV for less that $1100.

Good price on an HDTV capable Toshiba 36". Unless you have an HDTV decoder already, you better hope Comcast signs an agreement with CBS before the superbowl. Last time I looked, Comcast and CBS were still fighting about this. I have over the air HDTV and the CBS playoff game last week looked awesome in HDTV.

this is slightly different than the 36HF73 that bestbuy has for $1600.
the H73 has DVI HDCP inputs while this unit doesnt.

still, at a $800 difference, I can live without DVI.
