Wondering how I can get my hands on a bare Toshiba SD-R2002 DVD/CDRW slim drive. It's OEM-only apparently. Oh yes, I live in the UK.
I checked the inside of my VAIO F series and the drive bezel, and since it's a Tosh DVD-ROM drive already in there, it seems compatible. I haven't done any detail examination of how I could remove the bezel but I figure it can't be impossible.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Etc? And yes, I know an i.Link CD-RW will be much faster, but I'm into convenience (1 box to carry) not performance.
