Why wasn't this talked about before? If true, this is pretty damn low. These guys got some explaining to do.

since these are Arab & Muslim suspects - most of them - they are treated the way Jews were treated in Germany.

Perhaps. "You are being played like a fiddle for propaganda purposes" was just too much the normal line, and not clearly sarcasm, so....

I guess it's a testament to the rightiers' radicalism that they say things that set off the meter much more but are not sarcastic, so it's harder to tell at times.

Of course it's credible. It should be obvious to anyone that the US would torture children without hesitation. Any attempt to discredit this article is an attempt to cover up the truth. Everyone knows this.

If this story was true, then I think it showed that the CIA interrogators at least had the heart to not waterboard or sleep deprive young captives.

To be fair, I don't see even the Bush administration as one that would condone the rape and genital shocking of children, for example.

We should point out some limits as well, to keep te criticisms accurate. Now, would the Unitary Executive people say he has the *right* to do that? I think probably yes.

There position seems to be that virtually anything against an enemy conveniently said to be outside treaty obligations is 'legal' in the name of Article II.

On a side note, just using your post as one of many examples, I do wish people would drop 'overweight' from their attacks on Rush.

It's really about as offensive for overweight people for that to be used as an insult as is race, ethnicity, etc. His weight has nothing to do with his rotten politics and ethics.
