Torrent for PS3 updates?

I cannot connect to the update server on my PS3 and whenever I try to DL the update on my PC, I cannot get the full download. Is there a torrent for PS3 updates?
 
Make sure you are downloading the update from the official site, and following the directions for putting the update on removable media. It needs to go in a very specific folder. I've done it this way before I hooked it up with wireless and it works just fine. There is no reason why it shouldn't work for you.

My problem has nothing to do with how I'm following the directions. My problem is that I cannot get a connection to the update server. I'm starting to think that it's my connection. The reason I want a torrent is because if my connection screws up, the download can still be done when the connection is restored (it's also faster).
 
I guess people can't read. OP can't connect to server that has the update. He hasn't even reached the point of putting it on any usbstick or flash memory device.

My guess is for OP its your connection. Have you tried using someone elses connection, a neighbor's, school/work?

the Update server works for me, and maxes out my 6mbit line so I'm sure there no issues on sony's end.
