So a me and a few friends went to my apt in rochester this weekend, and decided (spur of the moment ) to hit up Toronto for the night life, altough we were gonna go to St Catherines... we chose toronto. It was absolutely a blast.

Lots of clean streets and hottie girls. The night life is beyond ridiculous. Its almost on par with some of the places i've been to in europe. Young girls, cheap drinks ($1 US drinks at this place, Tonic), and lots of people. It was an absolutely blast and noticed that there are a lot of Eagles and Sixers fans there. Got me a cool Toronto Sweatshirt for $15 Can on Yonge Street i think. Anyways, me and my friends met a lot of cool people(hey, i hooked up with a canadian girl :p) and are definately gonna do it again, but this time with better clothes. (We didn't fit anyones dress code but managed to sneak into a few places)

Anyways, this ones for your Toronto, See ya in a few months!

Edit: Funny story... Canada border patrol gave us such a hard time getting in haha,... they were like "What are you going to Canada for ?" And my one friend said "To Party" and they gave us a really weird look. They searched the whole van, searched all of us, and literally had us thinking they were gonna arrest us...Cause honestly, "to party" is not a good excuse to cross any border. They finally let us in though...

Montreal SUCKS. Toronto ain't too bad (except for Pearson airport). I hated Montreal and the stuck up attitude there.

You went to the wrong places or got unlucky with the people you met, Montreal is friggin' amazing during the summer. If you came during winter it's a different story though, everyone gets crabby from the cold.

I was there in the summer and the winter. I was there a bunch of times. Only once did I actually have a good time there.

I liked Montreal, but I went with a girl, so I couldn't fully "enjoy" the night life... well I did... just not with any Montrealers :)

BTW: the scenery in Vancouver is great right now too ;)

if you are leaving from Rochester you should take the ferry.. you can park your car on the bottom and the ferry goes to toronto harbour.. it's a couple hour trip... and you don't have to drive.. it's also easy to cross the stupid ferry customs...

and yea.. Toronto has a HUGE nightlife.. next time you come check out a club called LUCID.. it's right beside paramount on the same block as Tonic. the club has 5 floors.. different music in all the rooms.. and the girls are crazy.. but girls in toronto are wild as it is..

Good thing they made something useful out of that old playdium building.

Don't be ghei at customs, just bullsh1t 3 quick answers and you're out in 5 seconds. The guys at customs booths get bored as hell and will use any excuse to step out and stretch their legs and give people a hard time. I've gotten a few of those before, once on the MI/CA customs bridge I got a jerk that kept making up questions to ask me about the people I was with, eventually I was making up stories about how we all met, because he actually asked as if he was curious and that he wouldn't let me drive off without him knowing. It was bad enough I was on that bridge in line for about 40 minutes before that.

I was born in Toronto and lived in the area (Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga) until I was 11, then I moved to Nova Scotia for nine years. I've been living in the Chicago area for the past five years and having my fun, but it looks like I've been missing out on the fun in the old country! :(

We actually looked into it.... it's so damn expensive. There was four of us and a car, and it would've ended up being over $200 US to take a trip thats about 20 dollars worth of gas and most likely a few minutes shorter driving. I think that ferry is a rip off. And it crashes too much.
